Work Environment

This full-time position is based in our Woodbridge outpatient office, where our skilled therapists provide individualized assessments and treatment plans in a state-of-the-art facility designed for patient comfort and accessibility. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll have the opportunity to consult with other health professionals and play a key role in the holistic recovery process of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including review of medical history and performance of specific assessments, with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, incorporating their input into goal-setting for their rehabilitation journey.
• Exhibit expertise in executing treatment protocols, monitoring the patient's progress, and adapting the care plan as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure coordinated care, recognizing and documenting any changes in a patient's condition.
• Handle discharge planning and follow-up care with diligence, ensuring that all clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and comprehensive.
• Utilize effective time management skills to meet productivity goals while maintaining up-to-date schedules and participating in facility marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives, while adhering to local and federal regulations.
• Continuously engage in professional development and education to enhance skills and better serve our patient population.
• Promote a superior customer experience by demonstrating adaptability and ensuring timely access to care.
• Participate in team initiatives aimed at enhancing patient access and quality of service in alignment with organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Ortholand Therapy Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from injuries, and patients managing chronic pain. Our focus is on providing high-quality, individualized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each patient, ensuring that they receive the best care possible while enhancing their physical capabilities and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as required by local regulatory agencies.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers as mandated by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, we value candidates with a strong commitment to patient care and who seek to grow within our dynamic environment. Additional experience in outpatient therapy settings is welcomed but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
