Department Summary The Recruiting Coordinator provides high-volume operational and administrative support to the University and Early Careers recruiting team throughout the full recruiting and hiring lifecycle. This role is responsible for ensuring an efficient, accurate, and positive experience for candidates, recruiters, hiring teams, and HR partners. Working in a fast-paced recruiting environment, the Recruiting Coordinator will manage interview scheduling, job requisitions, offer administration, pre-employment activities, internship program coordination, candidate and requisition data, and recruiting reporting. The position provides critical operational support to a team of four recruiters managing significant hiring volume. Roles & Responsibilities Recruiting Administration & Campus Support Provide administrative and operational support during high-volume campus recruiting activities Assist with candidate bundling and dispositioning while recruiters are conducting on-campus recruiting activities Serve as the primary POC for organizing and coordinating X+ screens Maintain accurate candidate statuses and recruiting records and support timely candidate dispositioningProvide additional recruiting operations support during peak hiring periods as needed Create and ship career fair kits to campuses prior to events Monitor and respond to incoming messages in the University Recruiting mailbox Job Requisition Management Create and post new job requisitions in Workday for entry level full-time employee and internship positions Maintain active job postings and coordinate updates, changes, and closures as needed Ensure requisition, posting, and candidate information remains accurate and current within Workday Partner with recruiters to support requisition administration throughout the recruiting lifecycle Interview Coordination Schedule and coordinate phone, virtual, and onsite interviews across multiple participants, calendars, and time zones Communicate interview schedules, logistics, changes, and relevant information to candidates and interview teams Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure candidates and interviewers have the information needed for a seamless interview experience Maintain accurate interview information within applicable recruiting systems Pre-Employment Activities Track outstanding pre-employment requirements and proactively follow up to facilitate timely completion. Partner with recruiters, HR, candidates, and other stakeholders to resolve pre-employment issues Serve as the primary recruiting point of contact for the HR Service Center (HRSC) regarding applicable pre-employment and hiring activities Internship Program Support Serve as a backup for internship program and out-processing questions, responding to routine inquiries and escalating issues as appropriate Assist with the coordination of returning intern and conversion offers Basic Qualifications Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent in education, or equivalent combination of high school courses and related work experience. Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel Experience coordinating interviews in a mid to high volume environment and working directly with Hiring Managers and Administrative or Executive Assistants for coordination Previous experience partnering with Recruiters for success Highly adaptable, providing comprehensive support across various aspects of Talent Acquisition, ensuring seamless coverage and collaboration with colleagues Interested in gaining a deeper understanding of new tools and talent acquisition technologies This position requires a minimum of 3 days on-site in our Mclean location Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Workday Familiarity with OFCCP regulations Experience using Concur for coordinating travel Experience with MS Teams Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt and be flexible to change management Strong written and verbal communication skills Understands the importance of data accuracy This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s) None This requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s): None Salary compensation range and midpoint $52,000 - $65,000 - $78,000 Annual Work Location Type Onsite Commitment to Non-Discrimination All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to disability, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, local or international law.
