Family Medicine NP/PA Opening in Suffolk, Virginia Location: Suffolk, VA Norfolk VA, 20mPosition Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Patient Volume: 18-20 patients per day Call Schedule: Every 9-10 weeks, 1 full week of call Practice Setting: Well-established Family Medicine Clinic Job Description: Seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a thriving Family Medicine practice in Suffolk, Virginia. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care. Responsibilities: Perform routine check-ups, manage chronic conditions, and provide acute care treatment Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients Educate patients on preventive care, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment options Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care Participate in rotating call schedule Qualifications: Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Virginia Certification in Family Medicine preferred Experience in primary care or family medicine setting is preferred Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and patient care skills Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary Up to $10,000 Annual Quality Performance Incentive (QPI) Bonus $10,000 Student Loan Reimbursement Program $3,000 Annual CME Allowance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plans with employer matching Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Fully integrated Epic EHR system About Suffolk, VA: Suffolk offers the charm of a historic city combined with modern amenities.
