About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of preserving and expanding affordable housing while empowering residents to achieve self-sufficiency. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of a pivotal moment, where the foundation of affordable housing must be strengthened to keep pace with the dynamic growth and rising demand in the region. This leadership role demands a visible and credible leader, a systems thinker, and a strong operator with a people-centered approach. The CEO will be responsible for establishing operational clarity, building a culture of accountability and customer service, advancing housing strategy, and program effectiveness, and leading governance to strengthen relationships with the Board of Commissioners and the community. Candidates for the CEO position should have a background in senior leadership within housing, community development, real estate, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading organizational change and improvement. Experience in federally funded or regulated environments is essential, with a preference for those with HUD experience. The role requires a leader who can balance immediate operational needs with a long-term vision, and who is adept at engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including public-sector partners, community members, and residents. The ideal candidate will be mission-driven, with a deep understanding of the role of affordable housing in creating opportunities and will be prepared to lead the organization through a period of renewal and growth.
