Our client is a well-established organization seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support their Accounting department on a part-time basis. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$35/hr - $39/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to assist with essential accounting functions, including weekly timesheet collection and approvals, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. This role requires someone who is organized, reliable, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities of the Part-Time Accounting Assistant:

• Collect and approve weekly employee timesheets.
• Process and maintain accounts receivable (A/R).
• Assist with accounts payable (A/P) functions.
• Enter and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and organize accounting data.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned accounting tasks.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Accounting Assistant:

• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Accounting Assistant:

• Experience handling employee timesheets or payroll support.
• Previous experience in a small office environment.
• Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is a plus.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
