Overview:

• Guest Interaction : Welcome and engage with guests warmly, providing a friendly and attentive service throughout their visit.
• Menu Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our wine selections and food offerings to confidently recommend pairings and answer any questions.
• Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation according to our standards.
• Table/Bar Maintenance: Keep tables and bar clean and organized, promptly addressing any guest needs or requests during their dining experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth service and effective communication.
• Payment Processing: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Promote Culture: Embody and promote the welcoming culture of Vino Grotta, contributing to a positive work environment and guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restautrant or bar setting.
• Knowledge of wine and food pairings is a plus, but not required; we provide training.
• Texas Food Handler and TABC certifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
