Roving Maintenance Technician

Full-Time | 40+ Hours/Week | Rotating On-Call

Summary Description - We're looking for a Roving Maintenance Technician to support both multifamily and commercial properties. This role splits time between a primary residential community (Canal Overlook Apartments, located in Downtown Indianapolis, IN ) , multiple office properties, and portfolio-wide projects.

The technician performs general maintenance, repairs, and grounds support while ensuring all properties are maintained in a safe, functional, and professional condition. This role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage priorities across multiple property types.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete service requests, unit turns, and general repairs
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Maintain property appearance, grounds, and common areas
• Respond to on-call maintenance emergencies
• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs at commercial properties
• Assist with special projects and travel between sites as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Valid driver's license (must meet insurance requirements)
• HVAC and/or CPO certification preferred

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100 lbs occasionally)
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions
