Operations Accountant OpportunityCreative Financial Staffing is partnered with a professional services firm seeking an Operations Accountant to support their client.About the Opportunity for the Operations Accountant:Visible role supporting core trust operations during a business-critical conversionOpportunity to leverage and grow payroll/process experience in a stable financial services groupDirect involvement in a high-visibility technology and payroll systems conversionKey support role with close proximity to senior trust leadership and decision makersCritical to business continuity—your impact will be immediate and measurableStable, collaborative team environment; established onboarding supportResponsibilities of the Operations Accountant:Manage daily client payroll processing for 30 employees across multiple employer groups, including tax and wage garnishment proceduresProcess and reconcile incoming checks, cash, disbursements, and account transactions to ensure accurate account managementAssist in client account openings, closings, and system documentation during transition from Paychex to the Team platformSupport post-conversion troubleshooting, documentation compliance, and knowledge transfer to team membersBackground Expected:3+ years of operations experience for multiple employees or clients including payroll processingStrong working knowledge of end-to-end payroll, including taxes and wage garnishments, within financial or trust operationsPaychex is a plus but not requiredSalary range: $75k-90k
