Restaurant Manager for fine dining concept

Job Description

We're seeking a candidate to join us as our Restaurant Manager in the Portland area! This concept is a fine dining establishment, previous experience in a Front of House leadership role is preferred.

Restaurant Manager Skills/Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in a leadership role at an upscale or fine dining concept
Proven understanding of FOH operations
Experience handling labor, financials, scheduling, safety & sanitation, etc.
High-level leadership and management skills
Ability to manage a team and foster a positive work environment

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :

Collaborating with GM and/or stepping in to a leadership role when needed
Ensuring compliance with sanitary and health regulations
Streamlining the FOH processes to maintain prompt service times
Working with the EC to develop and maintain the restaurant menu
Creating schedules for FOH staff
Assist with monitoring/controlling finances and budgeting
