Senior Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the finance team through general ledger accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and special projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post assigned general ledger journal entries and other financial transactions.
• Collect, compile, and analyze financial data to support the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
• Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
• Support senior analysts with ongoing accounting and reporting activities.
• Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with established accounting procedures and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience .
• Foundational understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) .
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel , including:
  • Sorting and filtering data
  • Formulas and functions
  • Pivot tables
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures while meeting deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
