Adult Nutrition Inside Sales Representative - Columbus, OH

Your Role Here's what you will be doing: Sell Abbott Nutrition's portfolio of products to various market segments, analyzing facility needs and educating healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes. Address each customer's unique needs by providing proper information and appropriate solutions. Sell products ethically in accordance with company sales processes and marketing strategies. Make persuasive sales calls to designated customers to achieve or exceed sales targets. Build, maintain, and leverage relationships with existing Abbott customers during field territory vacancies. Assist in training and development of sales representatives as needed. Develop effective selling skills through prospecting, inbound and outbound calls to customer accounts. Implement and maintain the effectiveness of internal sales systems. Manage a targeted number of healthcare facilities, influencing product decisions of healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and federal regulations concerning Abbott products. Manage healthcare professional concerns regarding products, patient education, reimbursement, contracts, and continuing education. Manage territory budget for sales presentations, sample distribution, and literature in line with sales direction. About You The company is looking for candidates with: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Nutrition, Business, or Communication. Strong business acumen and preferably a nutritional or science background. Proven success in product or relationship-based sales. Demonstrated leadership and drive to exceed expectations. Excellent customer relationship building, communication, presentation, persuasiveness, and active listening skills. Ability to work in a team environment and openness to coaching and mentoring. Initiative, strong planning, and time management skills. Strong interest in sales with ability to meet or exceed sales and activity quotas. Proficiency in computer skills and sales databases. Ability to manage monthly budget responsibilities for product gratis and literature distribution. Knowledge of regulatory standards for infant formula and adult nutritional products. Proactive self-starter, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, sales-focused to expand client relationships. Enthusiasm and passion for the role. Willingness to relocate to various U.S. cities for field sales positions; relocation assistance provided. Ability to travel 10% to 30% as required. Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $20.85 - $41.75 per hour (may vary by location).
