Business Development Representative

Dagen Personnel LLC

Join an established delivery and logistics company where your ability to build relationships and uncover new business opportunities directly impacts success. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating new business, developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying customer transportation and delivery needs, and promoting companies’ business solutions. This role requires strong communication, prospecting, and networking skills, along with the ability to manage the sales process from initial outreach through contract execution. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on customer service and growth. Key Responsibilities Prospect and identify new customers through research, cold outreach, networking, and jobsite visits Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls and follow-up campaigns daily Set meetings with decision makers including project managers, estimators, transportation managers, and operations leaders Visit industry events to build relationships and generate opportunities Work leads through the full sales pipeline from initial contact to bid list placement Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records including call notes, follow-ups, contacts, and opportunity status Collaborate with leadership to prioritize strategic opportunities Ideal Candidate Highly motivated, persistent, and comfortable with outbound sales Strong communication and relationship-building skills Able to handle rejection and maintain consistency in daily outreach Organized and detail-oriented with strong CRM discipline Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment Performance Expectations 50-100 outbound calls per day depending on call quality and meeting volume Consistent follow-up activity and pipeline management Attend industry networking events Generate qualified opportunities and secure placement on customer bid lists Continuously build and improve the company’s prospect database and industry relationships This role is ideal for someone who thrives in competitive environments, enjoys building relationships, and wants to grow with an aggressive, high-upside company in the delivery and logistics industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
