Accounting Coordinator

Location: Allentown, PA Pay Rate: $27-$29/hour Position Type: Long-Term Temporary Schedule: Hybrid HTSS is hiring an Accounting Coordinator for a long-term temporary opportunity with a large utility company in Allentown. This hybrid role supports accounts payable and accounts receivable functions in a professional office environment. Responsibilities Match and validate invoices against purchase orders. Process disbursement requests and electronic payments. Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies. Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and monthly statements. Support internal users with AP/AR processes. Assist with administrative accounting duties, including scanning, filing, mail processing, and document management. Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality. Support team needs during high-volume periods and complete additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 3-5 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to work independently and resolve issues with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Oracle experience preferred. Accounts payable experience preferred but not required.
