Machine Operator

Job Description: Responsible for startup, shut down and operation of an assembly machine. This includes input of parameters, loading machine with parts, unloading product and changeovers. Must be able to meet production, quality and safety standards. Ability to troubleshoot problems and share ideas for continuous improvement. Quickly identify and report any machine issues or product defects. Excellent reliability required: excellent attendance and punctuality. Must be able to communicate in a timely and effective manner and work well with others as well as independently. Mustbe able to stand for duration of shift and able to lift up to 25lbs. HSD or GED required. WorkSchedules: Full time, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, 12 hour set rotating shift; every other weekend. Weekly work rotation schedule: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday Company is on New Haven and Bridgeport bus lines.
