You know how to build relationships, generate business, structure loans, and get clients to the closing table.

At Southern Mortgage Solutions , we're looking for experienced, self-generating Mortgage Loan Originators who want to build their own book of business with the support of an established mortgage brokerage behind them.

Southern Mortgage Solutions is a growing, 100% remote mortgage brokerage currently licensed in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama, with continued expansion underway.

Our company was built by a producing Loan Officer , and that shapes how we operate.

Our broker/owner actively originates and understands firsthand what LOs need to be competitive: strong pricing, broad product options, responsive processing, knowledgeable support, effective technology, and great communication.

Our goal is simple: give talented Loan Officers the resources to compete while allowing them to focus on relationships and production.

No In-House Borrower Fees

We want our Loan Officers to have a competitive offering to take to clients and referral partners.

Our in-house processors are salaried employees of Southern Mortgage Solutions , which means there is no processing fee charged to you or passed along to your borrower.

We also don't add administrative or other in-house company fees to the borrower.

When you're competing for a client, our company structure should be an advantage—not another fee you have to explain.

A Team Behind Your Business

In-House Processing

Our salaried in-house processors manage your files once borrowers are under contract, allowing you to spend more time originating and developing referral relationships.

Licensed LOA Support

You and your referral partners have access to a licensed Loan Officer Assistant who can assist with applications, pre-approval documentation, and borrower needs.

There is no additional fee or reduction in your commission for utilizing this support.

In-House Marketing

Our Loan Officers have access to in-house marketing resources at no additional cost to help develop referral relationships, support events, educate partners, and grow their local presence.

Technology Included

The software and technology you need to originate are provided without monthly technology, software, or platform fees charged back to you.

Mentorship From a Broker Who Still Produces

Our broker/owner is an active, high-producing Mortgage Loan Originator who understands what it takes to compete in today's market.

We know what it's like to compete on pricing, find solutions for difficult scenarios, get a pre-approval done after hours, and deliver the level of service that earns the next referral.

You'll have direct access to leadership for scenario assistance, strategy, mentorship, problem-solving, and business development.

You won't be working under a nameless broker who hasn't originated in years. You'll have leadership that understands what you're dealing with because we're still doing it too.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator who wants to self-generate and grow their own book of business.

Whether your background is retail or brokerage , what matters to us is that you understand the mortgage business, value referral relationships, and have the drive to create your own opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS number and prior mortgage origination experience

• Active MLO license in a state where Southern Mortgage Solutions operates, or ability to obtain appropriate licensure

• Relationship-driven and comfortable developing referral partners

• Motivated to generate and grow your own production

• Strong mortgage knowledge and ability to structure loan scenarios

• Excellent communication with clients and referral partners

• Self-sufficient and able to thrive in a 100% remote environment
