Associate Support Services Housekeeper - 1st Shift

This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
• Properly handling, separating, and disposing of regular and biohazardous waste.
• Adhering strictly to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
• Collaborating with team members and working independently to fulfill department requirements.

Education and experience requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous related experience is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience is desirable.

Work schedule: First shift hours, with part-time weekly hours totaling approximately 18.75. Weekend and holiday rotations may be required.
