Associate Support Services Housekeeper
Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a healthcare setting in the Midwest region. This role involves thorough cleaning and disinfecting of operating rooms and common areas, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety policies. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, proper handling and disposal of regular and biohazardous waste, and collaborating with team members to meet department goals.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Prior experience in a related cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous. Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus. Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant experience. This position offers a part-time schedule on the first shift, with weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
