Job Summary: The Administrative Storeroom Clerk plays a vital role in managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment essential for smooth healthcare operations. This position supports quality patient care by ensuring supplies are accurately tracked and delivered to the appropriate departments.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming supplies and equipment, verifying accuracy by comparing packing slips with physical counts before storage.
- Prepare receiving notices and forward documentation to the Inventory Control Coordinator.
- Unpack shipments for storage or delivery and place items into inventory.
- Inspect, pull, and deliver par-level items to designated departments.
- Fill supply orders adequately for all departments and ensure timely delivery to specified areas.
- Conduct physical inventory of supply rooms and report any surpluses or shortages to the Inventory Control Coordinator.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Shift: 4th Shift
This role is scheduled as needed (PRN) and may involve variable hours. Duties and responsibilities may evolve over time with or without notice.
Location: This position is based in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
