What You’ll Do Our Engineering internship offers hands‑on learning experience in product design, testing, quality, and manufacturing. As an intern, you’ll work closely with a Senior Engineer and the Engineering & Quality team, assisting with various projects such as warranty/root cause analysis, process control analytics and implementation, new product testing, and more. You’ll also gain experience in hydrostatic burst testing, grain analysis, and other product evaluation methods. Present project reports to senior leadership, helping to develop critical communication skills and abilities. This internship provides valuable, real‑world skills and a deeper understanding of the engineering processes behind critical electrical systems. What You’ll Need Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing, Process, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Rising Junior or Senior The ability to demonstrate relevant skills and experience required for the role Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to all levels of the team Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Cross‑collaboration skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams) Work Hours/Length of Program The internship will run for approximately 12 weeks beginning in late May through August. Temporary Part/Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week. Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business. This is a paid internship. Working Conditions and Physical Demands This position is based in our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility and involves working in a manufacturing environment/general exposure to a manufacturing environment. The environment may involve exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors. Employees are required to abide by PPE guidelines when onsite. Successful completion of a drug screening and a physical exam are required for this role. This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time. Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. May involve moving or lifting items up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing setting.
