Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite, ensuring that you have direct access to your patients and a supportive team. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. With a manageable caseload of only seven patients per day, you will have ample opportunity to provide individualized attention and comprehensive rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' physical capabilities and limitations, using standard assessment tools and methodologies.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans that incorporate manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training tailored to each patient's needs.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, mobility enhancements, and at-home exercises to reinforce progress outside of clinical sessions.
• Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment interventions, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate in the field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for helping others.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly within outpatient rehabilitation, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
