As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure, welcoming environment by screening personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and help address concerns with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.04 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious items, prohibited items, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel. Monitor access points and verify credentials or authorization for entry to restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility grounds, and perimeter areas; report hazards, access concerns, and security-related issues. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
