Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in the Bonita Springs and Fort Myers area. This critical role focuses on delivering direct, in-person services in multiple school settings, helping children and adolescents thrive academically and socially.

Role Highlights:

• Serve across varied elementary and middle school campuses, offering exposure to diverse student populations and clinical skill development.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, supporting speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Start in a part-time capacity with a weekly commitment ranging from 7.5 to 22.5 hours, and the possibility of increased hours or transition to full-time if supervision arrangements expand.
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required.
• Experience providing services to school-aged students, ideally in educational or pediatric settings.
• Willingness and ability to travel between campuses to provide services as assigned.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Promptness in completing credentialing steps, including fingerprint clearance and securing a JLA badge (transfers possible if currently cleared in another FL district).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language interventions as directed by supervising SLPs.
• Document sessions, progress, and assist with data collection for students’ IEPs.
• Support ongoing assessment and adjust interventions based on student needs.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and interdepartmental collaboration.

This is an on-site only position—remote services are not an option. The contract runs from August through May, aligning with the academic calendar.
