Business Development Director Are you an experienced Business Development Director ready to lead with purpose and make a meaningful impact in healthcare? At Encompass Health, this senior leadership role involves driving census growth, designing innovative referral programs, and fostering a culture of patient safety and care excellence. You will guide, train, and develop a dynamic Business Development team while aligning strategies with our mission to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Review, evaluate, and monitor critical numbers and progress toward goals. Understand and manage the operational and financial metrics. Oversee all marketing operations, including hiring and recruiting staff. Lead admission processes. Manage the reimbursement system. Communicate opportunities and threats in the marketplace to senior management. Identify new and repackage existing product lines in collaboration with hospital leadership. Drive census growth and foster a culture centered on patient safety and care excellence. Create strategies that align with the organization’s mission and deliver exceptional outcomes. Qualifications Driver’s license and an acceptable driving record according to company policy. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a marketing representative or nurse liaison in a healthcare environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred. Successful track record in leading, managing, or driving sales and marketing, preferably in a healthcare environment. Experience in physician relations, case management, managed care, or knowledge of the local healthcare market.
