Population Health Clinical IS Analyst (Epic)-Senior

Role Description
Under minimal supervision, the Population Health Clinical IS Senior Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, support, and ongoing maintenance of Epic Population Health applications, including:
- Healthy Planet
- Compass Rose
- Registries
- Care gap workflows
- ACO reporting
- Risk stratification
- Quality reporting
- Value-based care initiatives
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment and can effectively balance competing priorities while driving strategic outcomes.
The Senior Analyst serves as a subject matter expert for Population Health and collaborates closely with:
- Clinical stakeholders
- Operational stakeholders
- Quality stakeholders
- Finance stakeholders
- Analytics stakeholders
- IT stakeholders
Responsibilities include:
- Providing expert-level support, analysis, system design, testing, and optimization for assigned applications.
- Identifying opportunities to improve:
- Care management workflows
- Care gap closure processes
- Patient outreach strategies
- Quality measure performance
- Risk adjustment initiatives
- Value-based care programs
- Serving as a lead resource on complex projects and organizational initiatives, including:
- Project planning
- Stakeholder engagement
- Requirements gathering
- Solution design
- Implementation
- Post-go-live support
- Proactively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Developing and maintaining application standards and documentation.
- Mentoring junior analysts.
- Establishing best practices for system configuration and support.
- Interacting professionally with executive leadership, physicians, clinicians, operational leaders, faculty, staff, vendors, and external partners.
