Warranty Clerk

General Expectations Devote himself/herself to insuring satisfaction to customers. Determine management, production and quality requirements by asking questions and listening. Know and understand the federal, state and local requirements which govern the company’s business. Follow lawful directions from supervisors. Understand and follow work rules and procedures. Participate in performance management. Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale. Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements. Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required. Job-Specific Expectations Establish a formal policy for the dealership in regards to warranty/goodwill administration, develop a budget and utilize it consistantly. Make sure that all qualified warranty claims are submitted promptly and appropriately. Conduct trainings for dealership staff on warranty definitions, procedures and policies. Stay current on warranty policies and procedures. Act as contact between the dealership and manufacturer with respect to all concerns related to warranty. Act as a contact for customers to make sure they are knowledgeable about warranty policies. Make sure all customer concerns and issues are responded to quickly and appropriately Ensure customer satisfaction by managing and/or supervising the entire warranty claims process from initial customer contact to claim reconciliation and customer satisfaction according to guidelines of the appropriate warranty policy.
