Part-time Medical ScribeComprehensive Woman's Care, a division of Together Women's Health, is looking to grow their practice, and add a part-time Medical Scribe to their team.Scribes work closely with our Providers to assist with maintaining the daily workflow. Our scribes must maintain and demonstrate an understanding of the team approach to patient care and documentation.ResponsibilitiesHow you'll make an impact:• Assist the doctors by facilitating their daily workflow which includes:sending ordersentering diagnosis codessending patient education to the patient portalsending medications to the pharmacygenerating tasks and messages to the office staff as neededassisting with some back-office duties which includes answering bells, entering results into the patients' charts, updating the patient's records (i.e.: medical history, medications, pharmacy).QualificationsTalents you'll bring to TWH:EHR Experience (Athena experience preferred)Must be able to type 45 words per minuteOB/GYN & Medical Terminology knowledgeMust have reliable transportationGood judgmentExtremely organized and detailed orientedTakes initiative and is self-motivatedPrevious Experience working in Ob-gyn office preferred1-year previous medical office experience preferredStrong communication skills both oral and writtenMust be detailed orientated and have the ability to multitaskWhy Together Women's Health (TWH)?Because we do things a bit differently here.
