This onsite contract opportunity calls for a skilled SLP to deliver comprehensive speech and language services, making a direct difference throughout the current school year.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Ability to provide a screenshot verifying active credentials upon application
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Commitment to onsite work—remote or hybrid options not available
• Capacity to manage a caseload of up to 60 students for those seeking full-time hours (starting with around 30 students)
• SLPAs or Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this position

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to high school students, focusing on educational impact
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s progress
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state policies
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school community within the scheduled hours: 7:55 AM – 3:25 PM
