Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans to address the unique needs of individual clients.

• Document client interactions and treatment progress in adherence to regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate recordkeeping.

• Develop pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring client safety and proactive support.

• Actively participate in clinic initiatives to promote positive behavioral supports and foster improved client outcomes.

• Establish and maintain productive relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to enhance client services and secure valuable partnerships.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, conferences, and statewide meetings relevant to geriatric mental health.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall mission of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily work with the geriatric population who may be dealing with complexities surrounding aging, such as dementia, depression, anxiety, addiction, and major life changes. Your clinical expertise will provide essential support to seniors as they navigate challenges associated with their mental health, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• A minimum of four years of recent clinical experience specifically focused on geriatric counseling and mental health support.
