The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with preschoolers aged 3 - 5 years old, and ensuring their safety, well‑being, and development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assisting the Lead Teacher Providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in our care Aid in the implementation of age‑appropriate activities and curriculum that promote learning and development Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique needs Ability to manage routines and schedules Communication Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and maintain a collaborative and supportive relationship Work closely with a team of experienced caregivers to ensure the smooth operation of the preschool program Be active and participating in team culture and conversations via Slack and other communication avenues as needed Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Education and Experience Must be at least 18 years of age Licensed driver with reliable transportation Must have one of the following qualifications: Minimum of 1500 verifiable hours working with kids CDA Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in child education or development OR related field Must be able to pass Nebraska State Fingerprinting and a background check All Team Member Expectations Committed to the Mission of Sharing Jesus with Kids and Educating the Next Generation.
