Accounting Clerk

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a contract/temporary opportunity in the Denver, Colorado area, near Glendale. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with 3 to 5 years of experience who enjoys accurate data entry, organized financial processes, and supporting a collaborative accounting team. The Accounting Clerk will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, invoice processing, and general accounting support for a nonprofit charitable organization. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely. Enter, update, and maintain financial records, accounting data, and supporting documentation. Reconcile bank statements, account activity, and discrepancies as needed. Assist with invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor or customer account support. Support month-end and year-end accounting activities. Maintain organized financial files and provide administrative support to the accounting team.
