Accounts Receivable SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage various accounting and accounts receivable duties. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, keen attention to detail, and exceptional communication and customer service skills. This role involves working with 12 high-profile clients, each requiring a unique approach to accounts receivable management.ResponsibilitiesAudit invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.Respond promptly to client and corporate inquiries, demonstrating a responsive attitude.Efficiently handle credit card payments and credits.Adjust client accounts proactively and resolve payment discrepancies.Apply persistence to ensure timely and accurate payment application.Generate clear and comprehensive client statements.Execute invoice billing with meticulous attention to detail.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between corporate and field operations.Contribute to team success by performing additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsHands-on accounts receivable and collections experience.Proficiency in sending professional collection emails immediately.Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.At least 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable.Self-directed with the ability to manage workload independently.Customer service focused, especially in handling challenging situations.Strong attention to detail.Curiosity and drive to understand and resolve discrepancies.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with consolidating billing and government billing.Familiarity with non-US cash applications and daily audits.ERP experience.A relevant degree is preferred.Work EnvironmentThe accounting department consists of 20 people and offers significant opportunities for advancement. Initially, the role requires on-site work at the DTC office until fully trained, approximately 30 days, with the potential for remote work one day a week. By the six-month mark, eligible employees may work from home two days a week. Wednesdays are mandatory on-site days. The team values a close-knit culture and frequently engages in team-building activities such as Accounting Appreciation Week and external events. The office environment is pet-friendly, with both dogs and cats present, so candidates should be comfortable in such a setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Greenwood Village, CO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
