Associate Accountant

Job Overview Accountant is an entry-level role responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is ideal for a recent graduate seeking to begin a career in accounting within a collaborative and supportive environment. The role assists with financial reporting, reconciliations, and transaction processing while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Responsibilities Financial Record Management Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries. Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial documentation. Closing & Financial Support Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Support accounting activities for multiple entities and currencies. Account Reconciliation Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts to ensure accuracy. Transaction Processing Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Compliance & Audit Support Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. Provide support during audits and tax preparation activities. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance is required. Internship or academic project experience in accounting is preferred but not required. Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with accounting software is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and meet deadlines.
