Key Responsibilities Conduct individualized therapy sessions with clients, employing a variety of evidence-based practices tailored to their unique needs. Assess clients’ emotional and psychological conditions through thorough intake evaluations, facilitating the development of personalized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to support clients’ progress. Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, in compliance with all ethical and legal standards, ensuring accuracy and security of sensitive information. Work collaboratively with other health professionals as needed to coordinate comprehensive care plans, enhancing treatment outcomes across multi-faceted care teams. Demonstrate professionalism by consistently attending scheduled sessions and fulfilling deadlines for documentation and reporting. Patient Population / Client Focus Our typical client base includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and other mental health disorders. As a Mental Health Therapist at AK Therapy Services, you will engage with a diverse client demographic, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent) in Pennsylvania is required. A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. Ability to provide and pass the required clearances and background checks. Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable the establishment of strong rapport with clients and their families. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients' needs in a fast-paced environment.
