Estimated Annual Earnings: $75,000.00-$150,000.00

Schedule: Must have open availability, including Saturdays

You will report to the Service Manager.

This on-site position is located in Ramsey, NJ.

Responsibilities:

As a Service Advisor, you will initiate automotive services and repairs. You will make sure vehicle performance problems and service requests, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, and developing estimates. Additionally, you will write repair orders and maintain customer records.

• Be the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

Qualifications:

• Previous Service Advisor experience, preferable.
• 3+ years experience as an automotive technician preferable.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

Est. Annual Earnings ranges from $75,000.00-$150,000.00

This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Commission(s) off: Individual Sales, Individual Gross profit. Bonuses based on: Individual Manufacturer Approvability, Customer Pay Labor per RO, Flat Rate Hours

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge/bonus/commission, location, etc.
