Job Description
As a Litigation Associate, you will be an integral member of a small team of associates, reporting directly to a Litigation Partner. You will support business litigation cases, engaging in legal research, drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and assisting in trials. This role requires occasional local travel for court appearances and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators in a dynamic legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Manage discovery processes and document review
- Appear in court for hearings and other proceedings as needed
- Assist in trial preparation and support litigation partners
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in litigation
- Strong legal writing and case management skills
- Practical courtroom experience
- Background in business litigation matters
