Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional for a full-time school-based position in Sacramento, CA. This role involves supporting students in the classroom, assisting with academic and behavioral needs, and helping create a positive learning environment that promotes student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support to students under the direction of certified staff
Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and instructional activities
Support behavior management strategies and reinforce positive behaviors
Help facilitate student participation in classroom and school activities
Assist with transitions, supervision, and daily routines as needed
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school personnel
Requirements:
Experience working with children preferred
Experience in education, childcare, behavioral support, or related fields is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and needs
High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay: $22/hr
