Paraprofessional – School-Based Support | Elk Grove, CA | $22/hr | Full-Time | ProCare Therapy
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Elk Grove, California to hire a full-time Paraprofessional. This role provides direct instructional and behavioral support to students in the classroom, helping teachers create an effective and inclusive learning environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Support classroom instruction by assisting students with academic tasks and assignments
Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce lesson objectives
Assist students with behavior regulation and classroom expectations
Support teachers with classroom management and daily instructional activities
Help students with transitions, routines, and participation in school activities
Provide encouragement and redirection to support student engagement and success
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school personnel
Qualifications:
Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
Background in education, childcare, tutoring, behavioral support, or special education is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow directions and work in a structured school environment
High school diploma or equivalent required
