The Kitchen Director is responsible for serving on the senior leadership team. They are responsible for daily back-of-house operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence. They are responsible for food safety, inventory management, team leader development, and executing the Winning Hearts Every Day strategy. The Kitchen Director must embody Chick-fil-A Raytown’s values and help create a positive culture of growth and belonging .They are also responsible for communicating goals, expectations, brand standards and ultimately setting the tone for the team.

Kitchen Director Responsibilities:

• Uphold Chick-fil-A standards for quality and service
• Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the Restaurant
• Strong sense of urgency
• Be team-oriented, dependable, with a strong work ethic and strong communication
• Work on their feet for several hours at a time
• Demonstrate consistency and reliability
• Be adaptable and efficient participating operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Shift lead and/or assist shift leader
• Food safety checks
• Inventory management
• All kitchen operations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
