Bilingual Arabic Scientist for AI Safety

Use your scientific expertise and Arabic language skills to help improve the safety of advanced AI models handling specialized technical topics. You will assess and strengthen model responses in Arabic, with training provided for the workflow and no prior AI or machine learning experience required.

• Create expert-level Arabic prompts across specialized scientific subjects.
• Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate treatment of sensitive content.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
• Use scientific judgment to help models handle specialized Arabic-language technical content more safely.

• Ongoing or completed PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field, with sufficient depth to write prompts involving chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear subject areas.
• Native or near-native Arabic fluency and business-level written English.
• Deep familiarity with current laboratory and computational techniques in your specialty.
• Sound judgment regarding scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.

• Based in Saudi Arabia or the wider MENA region, although applicants elsewhere are welcome.
• Chemistry-based radiological or nuclear expertise, including radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, energetic materials, or radiation physics.
• Demonstrated depth in a specialty such as organic or inorganic synthesis, molecular biology, microbiology, virology, or genetics.
• Research or coursework involving chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous-materials handling.
• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.

• Remote, with MENA-based candidates preferred.
• Hourly engagement.
• Immediate start date.

$38 to $42 per hour.
