Bilingual Hindi Scientist for AI Safety

Help improve the safety of advanced AI systems by applying PhD-level scientific expertise to specialized technical content in Hindi. In this remote, hourly role, you will assess and strengthen how models respond to scientific topics, including sensitive and dual-use subject matter. No prior AI or machine learning experience is required, and training will be provided. Key Responsibilities

• Write expert-level Hindi prompts covering specialized scientific subjects.
• Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate treatment of sensitive content.
• Use structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
• Apply scientific expertise to improve model handling of specialized technical topics in Hindi.

• Ongoing or completed PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field, with sufficient depth to write prompts involving chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear subject areas.
• Native or near-native Hindi fluency and business-level written English.
• Deep familiarity with current laboratory and computational techniques in your specialty.
• Sound judgment regarding scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.

• Location in India or the wider South Asia region is preferred but not required; applicants based elsewhere are welcome.
• Chemistry-based radiological or nuclear expertise, including radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, energetic materials, or radiation physics.
• Demonstrated depth in a focused specialty, such as organic or inorganic synthesis, molecular biology, microbiology, virology, or genetics.
• Research or coursework in chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous-materials handling.
• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
