Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions, focusing on symptoms and challenges presented by clients in outpatient settings.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health and relational needs, establishing effective and realistic therapeutic goals.

• Implement immediate support and intervention during crises to maintain client and family safety, collaborating closely with emergency services when necessary.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Educate clients on effective strategies for communication, conflict resolution, and coping mechanisms, empowering them to enhance their relational and emotional health.

• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive treatment, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s mental health needs are addressed.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including attending workshops, seminars, and training to stay updated with the latest in therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults and children/adolescents, each bringing unique challenges and backgrounds. Our outpatient clients often seek assistance with marriage and family dynamics, communication issues, depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be vital in helping clients overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.

• Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the mental health field.

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient therapy services is highly desirable.
