Registered Nurse - PACU - Days

Position Registered Nurse – hourly pay range from $36.00 to $55.80 , determined by candidate’s experience and expertise. Location Highland Park, IL (prone to travel to Evanston, Glenbrook, and Skokie hospitals). Schedule & Hours Full time. 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with on‑call duty. Responsibilities Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a unit. Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care. Involve patients and families in the care plan as appropriate. Maintain regulatory compliance and account for outcomes of nursing care. Make therapeutic decisions based on the nurse‑patient relationship. Guide and direct unlicensed nursing personnel in interdisciplinary patient care. Communicate and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Qualifications Graduate of a state‑approved school of nursing; BSN preferred. Illinois RN license. CPR and BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
