We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support daily dispatch coordination and deliver responsive service for customers in Illinois. This Contract to permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly with both customers and field staff, and keeps schedules running efficiently. The person in this role will help manage service appointments, provide timely updates, and contribute to a positive customer experience while supporting operational goals.
Responsibilities:• Coordinate communication between customers and field technicians to keep service appointments organized and running smoothly.
• Respond to incoming customer questions, address scheduling concerns, and provide accurate status updates throughout the service process.
• Build and maintain daily and weekly technician schedules to support efficient route planning and timely service delivery.
• Process customer payments, prepare invoices, and assist with documentation related to technician time and payroll support.
• Monitor dispatch activity and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changing service priorities.
• Deliver courteous, attentive support on every interaction to strengthen customer satisfaction and trust.
• Maintain accurate service records and update relevant systems with scheduling, billing, and customer information.• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, dispatching, or scheduling coordination.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while staying organized in a busy environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented, customer-focused approach.
• Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls and resolving service-related questions.
• Proficiency with computers and business systems; experience with Salesforce is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with the Chicago area and surrounding suburbs is preferred.
