Scheduling Coordinator

Join our team in Rochester as a full-time Scheduling Coordinator! This position serves a critical role in the clinic as they are often the first point of contact with the patient and enable the clinic to run smoothly.Who We AreCommunity Dental Care is Minnesota's largest provider of comprehensive dental care for people of all ages on public programs. We operate five clinics across the state, including the Twin Cities, Rochester and Buffalo.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients by phone or in-person, schedule their appointments in the computer and create a positive, welcoming experienceManage the daily, weekly, and monthly schedule and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure a smooth clinic flowRegister new patients and maintain accurate patient recordsExplain ER protocol/procedures to patientsMonitor status of lab results prior to day of treatment and follow-up as necessaryProvide guidance to patients and families on completion of interpreter formsRecord patient issues/conversations in communication log or chartCopy and scan documents into patients’ charts; request chart/patient transfersRochester Clinic HoursMonday/Tuesday: 7:50am – 3pmWednesday/Thursday: 7:50am-5pmFriday: 7:50am-2pmQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably within an office settingBilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred, but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhat We OfferMeaningful work in a collaborative environment that fosters professional growthComprehensive medical, dental and life insurancePaid time off and holiday pay401k plus company matchAbout UsAt Community Dental Care, we provide high quality dental care in a caring, culturally respectful manner.
