For more than 40 years, Maxxima has developed innovative LED lighting and electrical products for the heavy-duty transportation and consumer markets. We are looking for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to join our team as a full-time customer service representative.

Location: Hauppauge, NY | On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service through phone, email, chat, and online platforms
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions, concerns, and requests
• Process and research customer orders, returns, replacements, credits, exchanges, RMAs, and warranty requests accurately
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, including escalated or difficult interactions, with patience and sound judgment
• Learn our extensive line of LED lighting and electrical products and confidently provide product information and recommendations
• Recommend alternative or complementary products based on customer needs and availability
• Assist customers with basic to intermediate product troubleshooting and technical support
• Collaborate with Engineering, Warehouse, Sales, and other teams to resolve customer issues efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer, order, and interaction records within company systems
• Participate in ongoing product, system, and customer service training and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
• Help maintain our high standards for quality and customer service by following established processes and best practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of customer service, customer support, or related experience
• Experience supporting physical or technical products in customer service or a related role preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to professionally handle challenging customer situations
• Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through
• Comfortable learning technical products and explaining information in an easy-to-understand way
• Organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable learning and working with ERP, CRM, Microsoft Office, and other digital tools
• Experience with Sage/MAS or a similar ERP system is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus

Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000
