Customer Account Coordinator
Location: Proximity to Melville, NY
Company/Industry: Well-established global distribution company
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Salary: $24.00 - $30.00/hr, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate
Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire + benefits
What You'll Do
- Manage a steady flow of inbound RFQs (requests for quotes)
- Prepare and send quotes using internal pricing tools
- Review and process purchase orders for accuracy
- Manage the full order lifecycle from quote to order to fulfillment
- Communicate with customers (mostly email, some phone)
- Coordinate with internal teams to confirm pricing, lead times, and product availability
- Support outside sales with follow-ups and account activity
