Retail Sales Associate - 2043

Compensation: $12.00 to $15.00 per hour, with the ability to earn up to 8% commission on transactions (average additional $1.00 per hour on top of hourly rate). Commission structure is easily attainable and pays for each transaction processed. Position Summary: We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time Sales Associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Sales Associate partners with all store staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business, greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The position involves working with jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations). Responsibilities Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintained. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items following company policies. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions. Communicates clearly with coworkers and managers. Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Successfully completes assigned training. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting). Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. May be asked to assist customers outside the building and retrieve products from external storage. Minimum age 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Flexible retail schedule availability, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
