Work Environment This is a fully remote position, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while ensuring you can effectively communicate and connect with clients. You will work from home, utilizing virtual platforms to conduct therapy sessions, which not only affords you the convenience of managing your own workspace but also connects you with clients throughout various geographic locations. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions via telehealth to address a wide spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring an individualized approach that honors their unique experiences and promotes overall well-being. Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients in distress, employing de-escalation techniques and risk assessment methodologies to ensure their safety. Maintain meticulous and confidential client records adhering to both state and federal regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication. Work jointly with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, psychologists, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care and wrap-around services. Stay updated with the latest trends in mental health counseling, engaging in continuous professional development and sharing knowledge with colleagues. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily involve a varied client population ranging from children and adolescents to adults experiencing a myriad of mental health challenges. You will deliver culturally competent care, ensuring that you create a welcoming atmosphere for clients from all backgrounds, respecting their unique experiences and needs. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. Current licensure in Oregon as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or eligibility for licensure. Hands-on experience providing counseling services to individuals and groups, demonstrating proficiency in various therapy modalities. Ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships and rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds and identities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for effective collaboration with clients and team members. Commitment to ongoing cultural competence and practicing inclusive care for all clients. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a community health or telehealth setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and evidenced-based practices in mental health. Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and EHR systems to enhance client interactions and administrative tasks. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
