Accounting Manager

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Monitor, review and verify accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness and adequacy of supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with internal policies, agency rules and regulations, and generally accepted account principles. Review and analyze reports for accuracy prior to distribution. Strong understanding and ability to perform bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries and monthly reports. Clarify or research issues as necessary. Provide input for the development of accounting applications, reports, forms, records and documented procedures. Assist in development of financial projections and forecasts. Manage accounting advisory engagements and provide accounting support to clients. Post financial transactions. Receive and record payments. Track fixed assets, inventory and prepare depreciation schedules. Prepare company payroll and understand federal and state compliance requirements. Month End Close. GAAP accounting conversions. Ability to understand financial reports and summarize insights with clients. Identify and build long-term relationships with clients and key members of their team.
