Job Purpose The Logistics Coordinator receives, schedules, and updates truck orders for K-Five Construction company utilizing the FleetWatcher software system. This role will primarily work 2nd shift to support longer workdays and evening trucks. Some overnights will be required. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain driver shifts in online software system. Process, analyze and review reports for driver efficiency and shift. Assist with scheduling and dispatching drivers and vehicles to appropriate locations. Communicate changes in daily work schedules to appropriate contacts. Coordinate and communicate truck breakdown issues, schedule changes and weather-related cancellations to appropriate contacts. Relay messages and information to and from crews, supervisors, and inspectors as needed. Monitor vehicle insurance cards and valid driver badges. Work with accounting for timesheet problems. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Associate degree and 1-3 years of similar experience in a trucking or similar role. Excellent computer skills including MS Excel and data reporting software. Understanding of DOT and state regulations for height and weight maximums. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment. Skilled at analyzing complex data and identifying discrepancies. Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Solid problem-solving skills and ability to maintain a collaborative approach. Working Conditions Employee will be working in a shop environment and assigned a workstation. On occasion, they will be required to attend offsite meetings or site visits. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, occasionally walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
